A Kickport is a Bass Drum Sound Enhancer. It ports the kick drum in the same manner as a bass reflex speaker cabinet, which boosts low frequencies. It focuses the air as it exits the kick drum and this compression increases punch.
At a much lower price point than a Subkick, it is a great tool to have around both in the studio and live. If you have the chance to try it, go for it.
