Lars Ulrich is famous for not doing anything outside Metallica, which makes anything he has recorded outside of it a rarity.
He has only made 2 recordings outside Metallica, and in my opinion, the second one is by far the most interesting one:
1. “Return of the Vampire” by Mercyful Fate (1993)
2. "Triple Frontier” Movie soundtrack - Helicopter Scene (2019)
Soundtrack composer Disasterpiece thought Ulrich’s playing “would contribute, embellish, elevate or add another layer”, Disasterpiece continued "I feel that your drumming has this thunder to it, and I would love to add some thunderous drums to the score.”
